Our CFR Scheme covers the Stourdene region of South Warwickshire, and beyond; the term 'Stourdene' arising because collectively, the communities encompassed are all close to the River Stour and the River Dene.  The term 'community' includes homes; hotels; pubs; restaurants; churches; schools; business premises and sports facilities. We also attend Road Traffic Collisions (RTCs) on the region’s roads when requested to do so by West Midlands Ambulance Service.

The Stourdene region includes the following villages:

In addition to providing cover in these primary areas and working with the named neighbouring CFR schemes, we provide support for other CFR teams which takes us to incidents in villages and towns such as Admington, Clifford Chambers, Lower Quinton, Shipston-on-Stour, Tysoe, Upper Quinton and Wellesbourne. At times of heavy demand, we also support West Midlands Ambulance Service in Stratford-upon-Avon.

In practice, no CFR Scheme has rigid operational boundaries; the boundaries are notional and are for administrative purposes only. WMAS will deploy the nearest available CFR to an incident with no knowledge of, nor interest in, administrative boundaries. We are therefore supported in our own coverage area by the neighbouring Shipston and Avon Valley CFR Schemes at the times when we don't have our own CFRs available - including when we are already deployed to an existing incident.
