A charity live-band gig, held in Ettington on Saturday 24th October, raised £150 for the Ettington Community First Responder Scheme. The gig was organised by Steve Kendrick and featured three live bands who played a number of sets throughout the evening. All the bands very generously provided their time for free.
The proceeds from the evening were split between Ettington First Responder Scheme and Shipston Home Nursing.
Russ Inman, Scheme Coordinator of Ettington CFR, said; “We’re delighted with the proceeds that were raised for the scheme through this event. We’d like to thank Steve and the members of the three bands for putting this gig together and giving their time for free. The money raised has come at a critical time for the team; we are in the process of raising funds to buy additional equipment in order to get two more First Responders operational and the £150 raised from this event will be a huge boost”.
