Pillerton Hersey Parish Council makes £100 donation to Ettington CFR Scheme

We are delighted to announce that Pillerton Hersey Parish Council has made a £100 donation to Ettington CFR Scheme. Although the Scheme takes the name of Ettington w here it originally started, it is tasked by West Midlands Ambulance Service to cover a 3-mile radius which includes Pillerton Priors, Pillerton Hersey, Halford, Alderminster in addition to Ettington.

This is the third Parish Council in our coverage area to make a donation to the Scheme – alongside Ettington and Pillerton Priors. All three Parish Councils have expressed their appreciation for the service that is provided by the Scheme.

Derrick Allen from the Ettington CFR team said; “This represents very valuable support for the Scheme and the Community and we greatly appreciate the commitment from the Parish for what the team is doing.” Currently, the team has one qualified First Responder in Pillerton Hersey although both Pillerton Hersey and Pillerton Priors are also covered by our First Responders in Ettington. A First Responder is due to become operational in Pillerton Priors within the next few weeks and a further new team member in Pillerton Priors is shortly to undergo a training course and should be operational during the Summer. We have a further First Responder based in Newbold-on-Stour.
