Ettington CFR Scheme welcomes four new team members

Ettington CFR Scheme is delighted to welcome four new team members:

Philippa Brown is joining the team as a Community First Responder. Philippa is currently going through the induction process with West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) and will then commence a comprehensive training programme with WMAS. Philippa lives in Halford and, on completion of her training, will enhance our service in that village.

Catherine Hewson is joining the team as a Community First Responder. Catherine has completed her induction process with WMAS and is currently undertaking a 1-month training and assessment programme with WMAS. On completion of her training, Catherine will become the team’s seventh CFR and will particularly enhance our coverage in Pillerton Priors where she lives.

Mandy Matthew is taking over from Marie Lowe as Treasurer. As well as managing the team’s finances, Mandy is working with our Chair and Secretary to gain Registered Charity Status for team. The team would like to take this opportunity to express our huge thanks to our previous Treasurer, Marie, for all her hard work during the formation of the team.

Esther Scarborough is taking over from Russ Inman as Scheme Coordinator. As Scheme Coordinator, Esther will be our principal point of liaison with West Midlands Ambulance Service and provide the day-to-day operational coordination across the team including the management of all our equipment.
